The 2020-International Conference on Computing and Information Technology (ICCIT-1441). The ICCIT-1441 is a refereed scientific conference that acts as a forum for scientists, engineers and practitioners to present their latest research, results, ideas, developments and applications in all areas of computer science and information technology. The purpose of the current proceedings is to bring together researchers and those interested in computing and IT advances in all countries around the world. Hence, the conference is a premier forum for exchanging ideas and interacting with experts from diverse fields such as Software Engineering, Computer Security, Artificial Intelligence, Database Management System, Computer Networking, Electronics Devices, Operating System, Internet of Things (IoT) etc and their applications.

Following the successful previous workshops held at the University of Tabuk, the ICCIT-1441 is the first official scientific conference in computing and information technology at the university. The conference is organized by the Faculty of Computers and Information Technology (FCIT), the Deanship of Information Technology, University of Tabuk in collaboration with IEEE-Saudi Section. The conference will be held at the University of Tabuk, Tabuk, KSA in the period of 9th-10th of September 2020. However, due to the global pandemic the conference will be held virtually. The conference will include presentations of contributed papers. State-of-the-art lectures by some invited keynote speakers will also be presented. Panel technical sessions on current issues related to information technology will also be organized. The conference proceedings are expected to be attended by several delegates from academia, researchers, postgraduate students and many undergraduates too.

Three programs at the FCIT gained academic accreditations from ABET, namely Bachelor of Computer Science, Bachelor of Information Technology and Bachelor of Computer Engineering. Gaining academic accreditation from national and international institutions is a significant indicator for the quality of the education process.
